Recently, the National Health and Health Commission held a press conference, at which it was introduced that since the "14th Five-Year Plan", the National Health and Health Commission has actively coordinated with the National Development and Reform Commission to implement the central budget investment of more than 19 billion yuan to support the construction of traditional Chinese medical and health institutions.

"TCM is an important part of the development of health care, and the National Health and Health Commission has continued to integrate the revitalization of TCM into the whole process of planning, construction and development to promote high-quality development of TCM." Qi Guixin, an inspector of the planning Department of the National Health Commission, said at the meeting.

 Since the 14th Five-Year Plan, the National Health and Health Commission has actively coordinated with the National Development and Reform Commission to implement an investment of more than 19 billion yuan within the central budget to support the construction of TCM medical and health institutions, including the national regional medical Center for TCM, the National TCM Inheritance and Innovation Center, the TCM disease prevention base, the "flagship" hospital of TCM and Western Medicine collaboration, and key hospitals with TCM characteristics.
